TrueCraft Contractors is a partnership between Jairo Alexander Morales Valdez and Patricia Ann Owens. Jairo leads the build side, from framing and roofing to tile and trim, and Patricia runs the office, the estimates, and the schedule. Between them, every project has an owner who knows the job site and an owner who knows the paperwork, and you can call either one.
We started TrueCraft Contractors because too many Baltimore-area homeowners were choosing between a big remodeling company that sends a salesperson and a subcontractor, or a one-person crew that can't take on a full kitchen. We wanted to be the third option: a licensed, insured design-build contractor small enough that the owners are on your job and big enough to handle kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, roofs, floors, and fences under one contract.
Design, build, remodel. That's the whole company in three words. We design with you before we quote, we build to the written scope on the schedule we promised, and the final invoice only goes out after you've walked every room and signed off. That's how we'd want it done in our own homes in Reisterstown.
